Wednesday Prayer Meetings
Adults meet in the library at Grace Fellowship Church on Wednesday evenings from 7-8 p.m. These meetings are led by Pastor Dan or Argyl. Sometimes, one of the other elders will lead. We begin with a time of Praise, followed by a short Bible lesson and discussion, and ending with a time of prayer for the needs of our church, our country, the world, and requests presented by those in attendance.
Prayer is vital to the life of believers and to the church body, and those of us who have been attending the Wednesday night Prayer Meetings have seen God answer many prayers.
In many places in God’s word, we are called to pray. Here are two:
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:6-7
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Jesus Christ. — 1 Thess. 5:16
Everyone needs prayer and all believers need to pray. Won’t you join us on Wednesday nights for prayer meeting and see what God can do in and through you?
